A SCOTS man had the internet in stitches when he proposed to his girlfriend – on a toastie box.
Jim Lardner asked Kilbowie Cafe in Clydebank to help him out with an unusual romantic gesture.

“Can you write ‘will you marry me’ on the box with the onion toastie.
“She will be ecstatic. Thanks.”
Jim posted the proposal on Twitter, saying: “Shout out to Kilbowie Cafe, she said no.”
